Prior to founding Insight Wealth Partners in 2010, David spent 18 years as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and Principal with Middlebrook, Dryden, Carter and Associates, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. During his time there, David was recognized as a Senior Financial Advisor and Private Wealth Manager, and received numerous awards for the highest level of client satisfaction and quality of advice. David was one of the youngest advisors with Ameriprise to achieve the Diamond Ring award, recognizing him for both his professional achievement and his exceptional work with clients. David was awarded D Magazine’s prestigious "Best Financial Planners in Dallas" title and was named in Texas Monthly magazine as a FIVE STAR Wealth Manager, which assists consumers in selecting a wealth manager who provides their clients exceptional client service and advice. David has been quoted in leading publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Dallas Business Journal, and Forbes Magazine, and the Collin County Business Journal named David’s previous advisory firm as one of the top 60 fastest growing small businesses in Collin County for the years 2004-2008. David enjoys working directly with clients to help them solve life’s complicated issues and decisions. David has the ability to help solve problems and see possibilities that others may not be able to see, and he enjoys incorporating those skills into his client relationships. David graduated from Baylor University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a dual concentration of finance and operations management. He also holds a Master of Science degree in financial planning from the College for Financial Planning. David is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, and he holds a Chartered Financial Consultant professional designation. David is an active member of the Financial Planning Association and Kingdom Advisors. David is active in his church, where he has previously served as a trustee and treasurer. In addition, he serves on boards and advisory committees of several non-profit organizations. David is also active in Christian business mission work, and he has travelled extensively over four continents teaching business and financial principles to developing nations. David has been married to his best friend, Amy, for over 19 years. They have a son, Bailey age 12 and daughter, Ava age 10. In his spare time, David enjoys traveling with his family, playing golf, and riding his Harley Davidson Road King. |
