David recently graduated Cum Laude from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with majors in Finance, Accounting, and Economics and minors in Mathematics and Corporate Communications. As a full-time student, David was a member of the Baylor Business Fellows Program and was heavily involved in his local church, serving as both a college small group leader and an audio technician for Sunday gatherings. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer for a local non-profit in Waco and worked as a teaching assistant for two upper-level finance classes: Business Risk Management and Options, Futures, and Derivatives.

Prior to joining Insight Wealth Partners fulltime in 2022, David was an intern at GuideStone Financial Resources in their Personal Advisory Services department during the summer of 2021 and interned for IWP before that in 2020. David is now working towards completing his Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University and hopes to take the Certified Financial Planner exam in early 2024. David is passionate about helping others reach their financial goals and supplying practical steps for them to plan for life’s complex scenarios.

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, cheering on Baylor football, learning new skills, and completing projects around his house.
