Josh graduated from Texas A & M University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Tourism. His first career was serving as a full-time pastor where he experienced the value of sincere relationships, honest feedback, and the courage to guide people through the many challenges of life. Josh took those values with him in 2012 when he began his career as a financial advisor.

Prior to joining Insight Wealth Partners, Josh spent 6 years as a financial advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner at Northwestern Mutual. While at Northwestern, Josh was recognized on numerous occasions for outstanding production, including a Top-10 achievement among new advisors. A two-time qualifier for Million Dollar Round Table, he’s seen as an industry expert in areas of personal and business financial planning.

As a result of Josh’s early success at Northwestern, he was elevated to a director role by his second year, earning the honor of being a sought-after speaker and mentor to developing advisors. Running both the college program and new advisor development program, Josh led his firm in overall unit production.

Josh brings a passion for serving families, providing guidance, and a teacher's heart in every meeting he holds, whether it's with existing or prospective clients. It is Josh’s belief that everyone has the ability and responsibility to maximize the positive impact of their wealth, and his dream is to help his clients effectively achieve that impact through sound financial planning. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife, Kelly, and four kids, Caleb, Maylea, Lyla, and Tysen. He usually can be found reading, making music, or outside doing something exhilarating.
